What it really means

NLT (Matt 6:33)
and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.
??? (Matt 6:33) Consider first His(Christ's)kingdom and the things He approves of and all these things will be given you.
=======================
No matter what version you read,
Consider this........
that in the Lord's prayer, Jesus prayed, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven".
Now we don't know much about the activity in Heaven; but one thing we do know is that there will be constant praise and worship of Almighty God.
The Bible says that angels will constantly surround the throne of God and cry "Holy, Holy, Holy".
We know that we will spend a lot of time praising and worshipping God too. There is--and will be-- constant praise of God.
The point is this,....
To seek FIRST the Kingdom of God means, to seek FIRST the praise and worship of God. FIRST, before you do anything else, you need to seek the worship of God.
Then after you have done that. The FIRST thing you should do is seek FIRST the worship of God. Once you have accomplished that. You need to FIRST seek the praise and worship of God.
Keep first things first, Seek ye first the Kingdom of God......What happens in the Kingdom of God? The first thing that happens is praise and worship of Almighty God. And His Righteousness...
Simply means to desire to live like Jesus Christ. Now you can't live like Jesus Christ without His Spirit in you; in fact you can't even desire to live like Jesus without grace.
Grace is not unmerited favor.
Grace is the power of God that gives you the ability to desire, to live like Jesus.
So seek first, always first to praise and worship God on earth as in Heaven and desire to live like Jesus and all these things will be added. That's what it says and that is what it means.......
It doesn't really matter what version of God's word you read the only way to get true understanding is through prayer and time alone with your Father,.....Amen
