He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit;
for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 2 Cor 3:6 ============================================================ As Christians we talk as if we have better answers for lifes problems and trials then non christians. However as the world looks on, they don't see any differance in us, and what we do, from themselves and what they do, on a day to day basis.
Neither does Jesus!
We claim to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, that He lived, died, arose, ascended, and is coming back. And is Lord of all.
We read scripture, daily devotionals, Study guides, we engage in praise, worship, Quote wonderful christian authors, listen to sermons and talk about how wonderful this all is. Yet far to often it doesn't seem to change us.
The hope of this bible study is to bring you face to face with your real beliefs, honestly, maybe for the first time. And with the help of God's Spirit cause a change.
No pastor, no preacher, no Sunday school teacher. Just you, the Bible, and God, one on one.
A devotional study to change us not entertain us.
Here is how it works,
Read the passage of scripture for that day.
1.Answer the questions.
2.Write your answers down,
3.put them in writing.
4.Somewhere secret. These answers are between you and God only! The next day read the passage of scripture for that day, and answer the questions as before.
All the passages in a given week (Monday thru Saturday) are on the same subject. By the end of the week you will have developed a real feel for the innermost heart of God on that subject.
